The issues of neuroscience were discussed at RISS

The Russian Institute for Strategic Studies held another Book Club meeting chaired by director Mikhail Fradkov on July 15th. The participants discussed the book of a famous American neuroendocrinologist and professor of biology Robert Sapolsky — „Behave: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst“.

RISS leading expert Anna Vilovatykh presented her analysis of the book.

The participants noted the relevance of the issues raised in Sapolsky's book, particularly the relationship between brain development and the human environment, and the effects of social influence on decision-making process as well.

The next meeting of the club is scheduled for August.
