The Russian Institute for Strategic Studies held a round table on the «British policy in the Balkans in the context of Russian interests amid current geopolitical tensions» on May 27th. The event was attended by Professor of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the National Research University Higher School of Economics E.G. Entina, Lecturer of the Department of Political Theory of the MGIMO School of Governance and Politics O.S. Yanovsky, researchers of the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.A. Pivovarenko and G.N. Engelhardt, as well as RISS experts.
The participants analyzed the Balkan vector of British foreign policy. They also noted the influence of the UK cultural and humanitarian factor in the regional processes and discussed the new developments in the British information policy in the Balkans.
