Vladimir Ivanenko was born on April 20nd, 1946. He graduated from Saint Petersburg State University and received PhD in History. He speaks Farsi, Dari and English languages. More than 20 years he had worked at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, including positions of Consul Ambassador and Consul General in Afghanistan and Iran. Vladimir Ivanenko has diplomatic ranks of the Second Class Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary. He has been awarded the Order of the Red Star, the Order of Friendship and other rewards.
Vladimir Ivanenko has published three monographies in seven languages, a great deal of articles in Russian and Foreign press and a number of analytical works.
