Biography: Aleksandr Nikulin was born on September 12, 1956. In 1979 he graduated from Russian State Agricultural University. From 1979 to 1991 he was working at the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and at the Research Center of the USSR State Committee on Science and Technology. Since February 1992 he has been engaging in scientific activity at the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies. He speaks English and Italian. Aleksandr Nikulin is the author of more than 80 scientific reports, analytical works and publications. He is a co-author of a number of RISS collective monographs. He participated in many international conferences. Aleksandr Nikulin is a member of the Coordination Council for optimizing foreign cargo traffic movement at the Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for Transport.
Areas of expertise: trends in the global and national markets of non-ferrous and precious metals, strategic products (uranium, rare earth metals, etc.); problems of development of the transport and logistics sectors of the economy, transit and movement of foreign trade cargo flows.
