Biography: Sergey Starkin was born on March 25, 1973. In 1995 he graduated from the historical faculty of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. He received an Academic degree of Candidate of Political Sciences on March 29, 2006. His Doctoral dissertation was defended on December 28, 2011. Since February, 2014 he is the head of Volga Regional Information Analytical Centre of Russian Institute for Strategic Studies. Sergey Starkin is the author of more than 70 studies, monographs and publications. He participated in many international conferences. He speaks English and French.
Subjects of dissertations: Political issues of military-technical cooperation in conditions of transformations of international relations; analytical institutions of the US intelligence community: conceptual bases, mechanisms, technology of activities in the context of globalization.
