Area of expertise: international economic relations, including the role of foreign capital in the economic development of Russia and the CIS, external economic activity, its specificity and office equipment, globalization in the world economy and the place and role of Russia, CIS, Central and Eastern Europe in the world economy, the role of ITO/GATT in the processes of globalization and regulation of the world economy, the formation of export strategies in external economic policy.

Now works as Professor in Department of the theory and practice of state regulation of market economy of Russian Academy of state service under the President of the Russian Federation (RASS).

The total amount of publications is about 150 printed pages, including monographs of recent years: Investment cooperation - Economics, technology and legal support, M “Luch”, 1993; Export economic activity - specificity, government regulation, M “Petrovskiy dvor”, 1998; The experience of foreign countries in the identification and readjustment of unfair business in the investment sphere, RASS, 1999; Globalization economic policy priorities of the European Union. M. RASS, 2000. In addition in the textbooks “State regulation of market economy” ( M. Economics, 2000) and “the Economics and organization of market economy” (M. Economics, 2000) chapters about state regulation of external economic activity, external economic policy and external economic activity of enterprises, as well as the sections in the methodical materials on the issues of economic regulation, its transformation to market mechanisms, the efficiency of using foreign capital, attractiveness of investment climate, repatriation and productive use of investments etc.

Participated in international seminars and symposium on issues related with transformation of the economies of Russia, countries of CIS and Central and Eastern Europe (Vienna, 1992, 1993; Berlin, 1992; Munster and Paderborn (Germany) 1997 and 1998, 2001, Moscow 1999, Kryinitsa (Poland) 1999, etc.

Trained 10 candidates and 1 Doctor of Economic Sciences.

Participated in the studies on request the Russian Foundation for basic research (RFBR), the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, international financial organizations.

Worked on probation in Germany in 1995 under the program Тacisа, taught in 1992 at the Vienna University of Economics, in 1998 and 2000 – taught at the the Higher School of the German economy in Germany.
