Organizers of the event included: Regional Public Organization for the Development of Youth Initiatives “The League of Youth Policy” of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Youth Public Chamber of the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ministry of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Youth Policy and Tourism, Bashkir State Agrarian University and Bashkir State Medical University.
Invited guests of the first day of the Forum included: Arthur Suleymanov, Rector of the Russian Islamic University of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia, and Ramil Rakhimov, Senior Researcher of RISS, PhD in Historical Sciences.
“Today we all need to understand the importance of impacts, which geopolitical processes may have on domestic policy of our country. Young people must constantly keep obtaining new knowledge, so as not to fall under someone’s influence and direct their energy and efforts in a positive direction”, – Artur Suleymanov noted in his welcoming word.
Rakhimov has read to the participants of the Forum a lecture on the topic “National-State Interests of Russia”, in which has told about the basic priorities of Russia in international relations, and highlighted the areas of implementation of the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation. The lecture was perceived by listeners with interest, as evidenced by the large number of questions from the audience, to which the expert gave detailed answers.
“The future of our country depends on society as a whole, including you and me, and the protection of national interests of the country is largely determined by our actions, our understanding of certain processes in the international arena”, said Ramil Rakhimov.
Ramil Rakhimov has presented the books published by RISS and dedicated to the matters of international politics, economy, conference proceedings, and a package of volumes of the “National Strategy Issues” journal.
The framework of the “Geopolitical Literacy” includes the meetings of the Scientific Cinema Club, Youth discussion forum, Round Table.
