Pandora Papers: Corruption in Ukraine

RISS leading expert Oleg Nemensky analyzes documents known as the Pandora Papers that were revealed by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). The analyst notes that information about Ukrainian politicians and oligarchs using shell companies to move wealth offshore constitutes a significant part of the published materials. It can be concluded from the documents that corruption permeates the highest reaches of power in Ukraine. The expert believes that the Pandora papers publication indicates the aggravation of the political struggle in Ukraine.
